What we do/Scientific research

Since 2016, we have started collecting data on maternal and child malnutrition in the places where we operate.

Thanks to the collaboration with some universities such as the Catholic University of Piacenza, the Polytechnic of Milan and the University of Valencia, we have started our scientific research activity with projects that aim to investigate the causes of malnutrition, the effects and seasonal trends. This research also allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of our activities and to better guide our intervention.

The scientific research projects in which we participate are:

“Maternal education and its association with dietary diversity and practices in pregnancy and breastfeeding in rural Madagascar”
