Change exists thanks to the tireless work of our volunteers, who have believed in us since 2005, donating their precious time and professional skills.
Within Change, we believe that volunteering is a serious commitment and an enriching experience, both for volunteers, who can help improve access to medical care for the Malagasy population, and for the villages that host us, who will be able to benefit from the skills of our collaborators. The main objective, however, remains to train local staff, so that, in the long term, external presence becomes unnecessary.
Change esiste grazie al lavoro instancabile dei nostri volontari, che dal 2005 credono in noi donando il loro prezioso tempo e le loro competenze professionali.
All’interno di Change, crediamo che il volontariato sia un impegno serio e un'esperienza arricchente, sia per i volontari, che potranno contribuire a migliorare l'accesso alle cure mediche per la popolazione malgascia, sia per i villaggi che ci ospitano, che potranno beneficiare delle competenze sanitarie dei nostri collaboratori. L'obiettivo principale, tuttavia, rimane quello di formare il personale locale, affinché, nel lungo periodo, la presenza esterna diventi non necessaria.
In our Center, we propose collaborative missions to doctors undergoing specialized training in certain sectors: Medical, Surgical and Clinical areas.
The missions include a period of training, clinical-practical activity and research under the supervision of experienced specialists.
Other professionals we need throughout the year include:
- Dentists,
- Opticians and Ophthalmologists,
- Neuro and psychomotor therapists specialising in childhood development,
- Nutritionists.
