Change and Nova SBE together for a more sustainable future in Madagascar

We are happy to announce a new collaboration between Change ETS and the Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE) of Lisbon, one of the most prestigious universities in Europe.

The objective: to offer students a field training experience in Madagascar and, at the same time, to strengthen our monitoring, evaluation and data collection systems.

Since 2005, Change ETS has been operating in Madagascar with health, nutrition and educational projects that have reached more than 350,000 people. Through the Saint Paul Medical-Surgical Center, the Nutrition Center And the Ampefy school canteen, we provide treatment, prevention and daily support to the most vulnerable communities.

With this partnership, a group of students from Nova SBE's Masters in Economics and International Development and Public Policy will work closely with our team to develop innovative tools for analyzing and evaluating social impact.

πŸ“Š Two projects, a common goal

πŸ”Ή Project 1 β€” Impact analysis and MEAL systems
Students will help create a system of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning, helping us to collect and interpret data on beneficiaries more effectively. This will make it possible to improve the quality of health and nutritional services and to measure the results obtained more accurately.

πŸ”Ή Project 2 β€” Improvement of IT systems
The second group will instead work on the optimization of our digital tools and data flows. The goal is to make the process of archiving, analyzing and managing information more fluid, so that Change is increasingly efficient and technologically advanced.

πŸŽ“ A mutual learning experience

This collaboration represents a unique exchange between the academic world and the humanitarian sector.
Students will be able to live a direct experience in the field, at Ampefy, supporting our operators and participating in the activities of the Medical Center and the nutritional team.

At the same time, Change will have the opportunity to grow through new skills, visions and academic methodologies, strengthening its planning and evaluation capacity.

🀝 Building change together

We believe that a better world is possible, changing one life at a time.
With projects like this, we want to create bridges between the North and South of the world, between students and operators, between theory and practice β€” for a concrete, shared and lasting change.
