Evening for Mario

Great success of the evening of Change for “Mario's Room”, an evening for fundraising and new memberships. An evening filled with the joyful memory of Mario Palumbo with his family, friends and colleagues.

Footage and photos of Mario and Change followed one another between moments of music and presentation of the projects that Change has in Madagascar!

Good and passionate musicians and singers, young volunteers who led the crowd of those present, the 4 Civil Service Volunteers who witnessed their work in Madagascar, the generous catering offered by the Black Hole Team... everything helped to make this evening special.

The four civilists presented their work in Madagascar: Rosita, a Nutritional Biologist who has reorganized our Nutrition Service, who has a major project underway on the malnutrition of pregnant women and who in 10 days will return to Ampefy for a few months to continue the work started! Matteo, an agronomist who has followed, reorganized and improved our cultivation of Moringa oleifera, also making cultivation changes and who is following the cultivation work remotely with weekly reports as indicated by him. Emma, a midwife hired in Milan who, together with Amber, also a midwife hired in Rome, have collaborated and trained our Ampefy midwives. They also remotely maintain continuous training with the Malagasy obstetric team. In short, their Civil Service is therefore not finished. Also for this reason but above all because all four of them felt included in Change and want to be included in Change, during the evening they were given a small Change plaque thanking them for everything they have done and will do.

This is also a way to say a big thank you to these young people who know and want to commit themselves to social issues.

But a BIG THANK YOU should also say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who attended the party “Mario's Room” last night!!!
With their emotional contribution and with their donations, they allowed Change to achieve the goal of the evening, allowing us to continue the surgical and hospitalization activity in our Saint Paul Health Center in Ampefy with a few more resources.

But most of all thanks Mario and Costanza!
