It is an act of reciprocity, it is a flow in which there are necessarily always two directions.
It is a bilateral commitment in which the heart and the hands of another end up in the hands and in the heart of one.
I think this is one of the most essential meanings of civil service abroad.

I interpret my stay here in Madagascar in this way because yes, I receive so much every day and I try in my small way to give back something else. It is a continuous welcome, drawing with care from a wonderful people. And at the same time there is me, without the experience of a life without the skills of a professional, still immature, who tries to give something to these people. I don't want this exchange to be unequal, so I try to offer him everything I can, that is, myself, I try to be up to him and that is precisely what I will insist on in recent months here.
To arrive at a situation of balance, to rebalance everything that has been given to me by Madagascar.
And when you think about it, at the end of the day, the feeling that comes with it always remains a sweet gratitude.
