An opportunity that allowed us to tell our mission and the stories of daily life of the people of Ampefy and the surrounding villages. Steven Basalari, influencer and entrepreneur, arrived in Madagascar to experience first-hand the authentic experience of Malagasy life. After spending time in the villages near Ampefy, he visited our Saint Paul Medical-Surgical Center, being profoundly impressed by the quality of the services we offer and by our facility. The visit then extended to our Moringa plantation, a plant with extraordinary nutritional properties, which we use to combat child malnutrition.
Steven was fascinated by the simplicity of Malagasy life, but also by the extraordinary kindness and helpfulness of the locals. For this reason, he decided to make a concrete gesture of solidarity: he donated funds for the construction of a well, improving access to drinking water for the communities of Ambato Mitsangana and Ambalavao.
