In Madagascar, in fact, access to health care remains a daily challenge. For many families, the average distance to the nearest health center is about 10 km, often without passable roads or means of transport. Added to this are the increasingly serious consequences of climate disasters: over the past year 46,000 people have needed humanitarian assistance, while 558,000 children have risked acute malnutrition.
Despite the difficulties, together we have built a year of great impact, made up of growth, assistance and shared resilience.
More turnout at our Center
Overall, 2025 registered 42,408 total acceptances, with 14,131 new patients taken care of for the first time, testifying to an increasingly widespread presence in the area.
Particularly significant was the increase in the activities of the maternity service, which saw a significant increase in antenatal consultations, from 2,338 in 2024 to 4,641 in 2025, and assisted births, increased from 203 to 389.
Numbers that tell of a booming service, capable of accompanying more and more women along the entire path of pregnancy and childbirth.
More children reached and more cases intercepted
During the year we have Screened more than 10,700 children, promptly identifying cases of malnutrition and activating the necessary treatment paths.
Thanks to nutritional programs, 63 children recovered from malnutrition during the year: a concrete result, behind which there are home visits, constant monitoring and the daily work of our Équipe.

School and nutrition: a combination that works
The school canteen program has continued to support access to education. Over the year we introduced more varied menus, fresh foods and snacks.”Moringotti”, enriched with our Moringa.
In September, the reopening of the canteen brought with it an encouraging fact: 80 new school registrations, a concrete sign of the positive impact of the service.
A growing team
In 2025, we trained new members of the local staff, expanding the capacity of our Center to intervene, monitor, accompany and ensure continuity of services in all the villages reached.

Looking ahead
2025 showed us how necessary it is, today more than ever, to strengthen health services and nutritional programs to support families.
But it also showed us the value of collaboration, trust and resilience of the communities we work with every day.
With gratitude for those who have supported and accompanied us throughout the year, we wish you happy holidays and a new year full of peace, strength and hope.
